You spot it from the corner of your eye: a tiny dark speck crawling across your display — or worse, sitting perfectly still behind the glass where your cursor can’t reach it. How to remove a bug trapped behind the glass
This works when your white-screen test showed the bug moving in the air gap. Be patient — you’re herding, not extracting.
- Power off and unplug the monitor. A dark, cool screen stops attracting the bug toward the centre and removes any shock risk.
- Find the gap. Most bugs enter and exit through the ventilation slots in the bezel or the seam where the front frame meets the panel. That seam is your exit door.
